Part 3 - A Photographer or Dreamer?

This trip was a lot about pictures for me. I felt like a real photographer, someone who knew what she was doing and knew what techniques she needed to use to make certain things happen.
I loved how sepia made everything look more interesting and pretty than plain color...
..gave a bit of a country tinge to a plain old bus ride and made certain things stand out that wouldn't in a color shot...
Details are just totally out there it seems plus there is a softness to it all...
..it left room for imagination and I used a lot of that this trip. Dreamer, I am.

The sepia does transform these shots into something more...very moody looking. Fine series.

I think your shots so a natural eye for dynamic balance. You automatically (or with conscious thought) place your principal subject in the picture
so the picture feels right. To aim directly at the child, for instance, would not be nearly as effective.
Very nice work. My second vista was very enjoyable.

Don- I'm glad you enjoyed them so much. I'm not sure that it's a conscious effort, I think it's more that I prefer mostly for the subject not to know I'm taking the shot. I like natural poses, and usually kids that age tend to either get shy or overly outgoing when they know they are in the spotlight. So stealth is my key..

Madnilk- I'm also very glad you liked the pictures. I was going not so much for nostalgia, but something that would be seen as different. I am beginning to think color is too played out.
