China Saga- Chapter 3

07.30.07

On the bus, on the way to dinner from the Great Wall. Climbing today was fun, but hard with the humidity. As I was taking video, I couldn't help but recall watching the videos from when I was like two, climbing the wall with my short, little legs. Now, I'm grown and videoing the girls' short, little legs climb faster than me!

I took plenty of shots up on the cable car and through out the walk/climb. Liz and I challenged ourselves, walked quite a ways, but still not as far as those girlies. We had a lot of fun.

Sweaty and exhausted. Now, I'm falling asleep while sitting here waiting to get to the restaurant.

Fine images of the haze and obscured details in the distance. I checked out the chapter shots. Very interesting. One of my favorites was the view of the cables and the road below. Nice photography!

H- It sounds like your trip to China is going great!!! I read through all your posts on this page and so glad that you are having such a good time. That's so interesting about the church and religious freedome in China. I knew that but didn't know how it was enforced.

I don't know whether you have the time, but your chapter pictures would make some fine posts with comment about them. Any chance for some of them appearing that way? :-)

The haze makes for some nice colour tones...well done!
